Victorius Eugenio, Principal of Daggett Montessori School in Fort Worth ISD will serve as the new Zone 8 Director for the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) Board of Directors. Eugenio joins the NAESP Board officially August 1, 2020 and will complete his term July 31, 2023.

“I am humbled and blessed to be given the opportunity to represent Texas and the six other great states in Zone 8 as a board member for the NAESP. As an active member of TEPSA and the TEPSA Executive Committee, I have gained the necessary experience to serve on the NAESP Board. I carry in my heart my personal experiences as a first generation immigrant and hope to inspire fellow educators nationwide to ensure all children are provided opportunities to succeed in life. My goal is to tell my story and that of every educator I have been fortunate to meet to positively influence our efforts as principals, teachers, and administrators,” Eugenio said.

Eugenio, whose career in education spans more than 25 years, served two terms as the NAESP State Representative. In that role, he advocated on behalf of Texas PK-8 students and educators at the state and national levels.

The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA), whose hallmark is educational leaders learning with and from each other, has served Texas PK-8 school leaders since 1917. Member owned and member governed, TEPSA has more than 6000 members who direct the activities of 3 million PK-8 school children. TEPSA is an affiliate of the National Association of Elementary School Principals.
