Platform:

As the future TEPSA Member At-Large I will work with all members, local and state educational officials to identify the most equitable learning opportunities to ensure an accessible and rigorous education for all Texas students. As a servant and transformational leader, I work alongside leaders to implement student-centered initiatives that promote high-quality education and build on the child as a whole. Keeping this perspective in the forefront of all decision-making, ensures the outcome will benefit students as they progress and grow throughout their life. The Students First philosophy connects how decisions will impact the endeavors of all children and is the focal point as we champion for every student in Texas. As your Member At-Large, at the state level I will advocate for administrators and supervisors to reinforce the support of their students and communities. This year’s educational challenges have brought a new mindset with remote learning and 21st century skills for the entire learning community. These challenges and changes have prompted new learning experiences, established the development of new systems, and the articulation of the various ways we will continue to support instruction, and ensure an equal level playing field for all children. Together with TEPSA we will continue a collaborative effort to enhance leadership, embrace challenges and define new ways to lead teachers and students.
