Thank you for your interest in running for TEPSA state office! This leadership opportunity carries the privileges of working with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Standing Committees to establish the Association’s strategic direction and serving as the voice of Texas PK-8 school leaders. Likewise, serving at the state level requires considerable investment of time, dedication and hard work.

Each year TEPSA members elect two officers:

  • Member At-Large: A 2-year term that supports the work of the association.
  • Vice President: A 3-year term that supports the work of the association and culminates in serving as the President.

Every three years the NAESP Representative is elected. The next NAESP Rep will be elected in 2028.

Qualifications to Run for State Office (See TEPSA Bylaws Article V. Section 2.):

  • Served at least one full year as a Region President or Standing Committee
  • TEPSA member in good standing since 2022 with no breaks in membership
