Principals, assistant principals and supervisors who deal directly with PK-8 instructional programs are eligible to join at the Basic, Comprehensive or Combo levels. Other membership categories are available below.

Aspiring Administrator – $99

For students enrolled in leadership prep programs. If your job requires any disciplinary or supervisory-related responsibilities, please choose Comprehensive or Basic membership, which includes professional liability insurance and legal defense coverage. This membership category does not include voting rights in TEPSA elections or professional liability and legal defense coverage.

Associate – $199

For superintendents, full-time university professors and state agency staff including Education Service Center staff. Retired Member – $299

For a one-time payment, retirees who have previously been TEPSA voting members receive 5 years of TEPSA benefits. (If you have been rehired in an administrative role, please choose Comprehensive or Basic membership which includes professional liability and legal defense coverage.*) This membership category does not include voting rights in TEPSA elections or professional liability and legal defense coverage.

Note: TEPSA membership belongs to the individual school leader. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions stated in the master policy kept on file at the state TEPSA office and is available for review by request. The Educators Professional Liability Insurance Policy is underwritten by a carrier rated A+ XV (Superior) by A.M. Best.

The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA), whose hallmark is educational leaders learning with and from each other, has served Texas PK-8 school leaders since 1917. Member owned and member governed, TEPSA has more than 6000 members who direct the activities of 3 million PK-8 school children. TEPSA is an affiliate of the National Association of Elementary School Principals.
