Student Leadership Training for 4th-8th Graders

The ever-popular and highly interactive, TEPSA’s Leaders ‘R’ Us Workshops are going virtual! TEPSA has trained more than 40,000 Texas students to be successful leaders on their campuses since 1999. During the 4.5-hour virtual workshop, 4th-8th grade students and their advisors learn to create a dynamic student leadership team.

Workshop Benefits

Student leaders and advisors develop leadership skills and guide your team. They also:

  • Give learners the opportunity to lead off campus.
  • Discover techniques to generate peer participation.
  • Explore tools to create meaningful and challenging projects and fundraisers.

During their own virtual session, students:

  • Explore and develop their personal leadership style.
  • Learn how to effectively communicate.
  • Discover their roles and responsibilities during a leadership team meeting

During their own virtual session, advisors:

  • Learn how to organize the council and keep it active all year.
  • Explore how to develop a constitution, establish the criteria for membership and hold a successful election.
  • Discover successful and unique project and fundraising ideas.
  • Learn how to become a recognized student leadership team.
  • Connect with experi­enced leadership team advisors.
  • Plan with their leadership team.
