What is the membership year?

The 2018-2019 membership year is July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019. TEPSA does not prorate membership.

 

When is my membership effective?

  • New Members: Your membership goes into effect on July 1 if submitted prior to that date. If submitted after July 1, then your membership is effective on the date received in the TEPSA office. Membership forms that are faxed or mailed may take 2-3 weeks for processing.
  • Renewing Members: For continuous professional liability insurance and legal defense coverage,* your renewal form must be received by July 1.

 

Can I renew online?

If you have an outstanding dues invoice, it must be paid in full before you can renew online. Please call 800-252-3621 for assistance. You will not be able to renew online until invoice is paid in full. If you use payroll deduction, see FAQ for more information.

 

If the above does not apply to you:

  • Login.
  • Click on red Renew! Link next to Membership Information in the right navigation menu under My Profile
  • Follow the steps on the screen.

 

How do I pay with a credit card?

To ensure security and privacy, credit payments must be processed online. TEPSA accepts all credit cards except American Express.

How do I change my membership category?

Select your new membership type when you enroll online or via PDF.

 

Are dues payments a tax deductible business expense?

Yes, dues payments are a tax deductible business expense.

 

Does TEPSA have a political action committee (PAC)?

No. No portion of your TEPSA dues are used to support political candidates.

 

How do I sign up for payroll deduction?

What if my school district is paying?

  • Return this form with corrections to TEPSA and send a copy to your district.
  • Attach a copy of the purchase order to this form. Requisition or travel vouchers for POs are not accepted documentation.
  • Invoice will be mailed to your district for payment. Payment due 30 days from renewal date.
  • All district checks sent to TEPSA must include copies of each member’s application form.

 

What are the 2018-2019 benefits of the professional liability and legal defense coverage*?

Members may access up to $1 million liability insurance coverage per member, $3 million per occurrence for covered claims seeking monetary damages arising from activities of the insured in his/her professional capacity and reimbursement of attorney fees up to $20,000/$25,000 for a variety of covered employment rights/defense costs: all subject to terms, conditions and exclusions in the policy. *The Educators Professional Liability Insurance Policy is underwritten by a carrier rated A+ XV (Superior) by A.M. Best. Like all insurance policies, coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions stated therein. The master policy is kept on file at the state TEPSA office and is available for review by request.

 

How do I update my member profile?

Maintaining accurate membership data is crucial to the success of our association. Please ensure your information is correct.

Login to www.tepsa.org.

Under “Welcome, Your Name” in the top right corner, select “Account + Settings.” 

Select the gray “Profile” tab to make updates to your profile.

Information & Settings: Manage and update your membership record. The red lock in the left-hand column ensures your information is kept private.

Preferences: View and manage your communications preferences. We'll learn more about the features listed here as they are rolled out in the upcoming months.

Payments and History: Check your conference, webinar, student council, and membership registrations. Filter by status and type to review and print invoices.
