In my 20-plus years as an educator, I've held many different job titles with many different responsibilities. By far, my favorite position is the principalship. This title fits me like a glove, and I want to spend the rest of my career in this position. As a principal, I have the privilege of working with students, parents, and dedicated educators, every day. I am blessed to mentor, learn from, and advise future leaders, and I get to advocate for our schools while sharing our amazing accomplishments.

I truly believe my love for the principalship can be credited to the support of TEPSA. TEPSA is a vibrant organization, and I have been extremely fortunate to network with dynamic educational leaders across the state. With the help of my TEPSA family, I've become a better leader, and I have more tools in my tool belt for working with students, parents, and teachers. My goal is to continue the TEPSA tradition of encouragement for our educational leaders in the great state of Texas. I want other educational leaders to join our fabulous organization, get excited and inspire tomorrow’s leaders! I would be honored to serve as TEPSA state secretary, and I appreciate your vote. Together, we can continue the long-standing TEPSA tradition of learning from each other, and ultimately impacting our communities, state, and world!
