Candidates Selected for 2022-23 TEPSA Election
TEPSA’s Nominating Committee met January 20 to vet the candidates for the 2022-2023 TEPSA State Officer Election. The election will be held February 22 – March 8. Active voting members will receive an email with login and voting information February 22.
The names that were put forward by the Nominating Committee are:
Member At-Large
- Gerrie Spellmann, Alamo Heights ISD, Region 20
- Rachelle Ysquierdo, Sheldon ISD, Region 4
Vice President – Uncontested
Per the TEPSA Bylaws, at least two candidates must submit their intent to run for state office by December 1. Two candidates met that criterion for the office of Vice President. However, on December 7, the second candidate withdrew his name due to unexpected circumstances.
