Pam Mitchell
A former Texas National Distinguished Principal, Pam has more than 38 years experience working with learners from all socio-economic levels in districts ranging from from 1A to 6A. She completed the National Mentor Training and Certification Program through the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP). She is a certified character.org trainer and national evaluator and has co-chaired the TEPSA State Schools of Character Initiative since 2010. As principal of Coppell ISD’s Mockingbird Elementary, her campus was named a State and National School of Character in 2012. She participated in The Principal’s Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and often presents at local events, TEPSA, NAESP, and the National Forum on Character Education.

Kimmie Etheredge
Kimmie Etheredge, whose career in education spans 26 years, is a former Texas National Distinguished Principal. She has led Kay Granger Elementary in Northwest ISD since 2007 when the school opened. Nurturing a strong academic and parental and community support base, Granger earned an exemplary rating in its first year, was designated a State School of Character in 2012 and a National School of Character in 2013. Etheredge has co-chaired the TEPSA State Schools of Character Initiative since 2010. She completed the National Mentor Training and Certification Program through the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) and presents statewide on character development, teacher and campus morale, and fostering grit in both student and adult learners.
